Better Sailing 

This course follows on from Start Sailing 2.  The course content will be tailored to the experience and competence of each participant.

Course will run on between 1:30 - 5:30 PM Mon 8th Jan, Tues 9th Jan, Thu 11th Jan & Fri 12th Jan. Please note there is no sailing on Wed 11th Jan.

• 16hrs with qualified Australian Sailing instructors. 
• Afternoon Tea each day.
• Certificate presentation.

Enrollments

Registration is only possible after you have obtained an AS (Australian Sailing) number, which can be completed during the registration process. Registration must be made under the name of the participant.

Payment is required at the time of registration.

The number of places available is limited, so enrollments will be accepted on a first-in basis in the order completed, until the squad limit is reached. This rule applies to all applications, including Club members, and in the interests of fairness to all will be strictly enforced.

This course focuses on sailing in stronger winds and introducing extra equipment like spinnaker and trapeze to leverage the full boat potential on the water.

Water confident, and you should have the skills, knowledge and experience gained from the Start Sailing 2 course.

This course is designed for participants who wish to continue developing their sailing skills in dinghies. 

Course Outcome

You will gain your Better Sailing completion certificate.
